CADEBY LIMESTONE

Cadeby is an limestone from the limestone deposit which formed roughly 260 million years ago in the Permian period. It's beds are grouped together based on their appearance and performance.

Cadeby 1

Cadeby bed 1 is a fine grained, buff coloured stone with slight fluctation within it's colour. It is a durable stone which is capable of being used for internal paving, carving, ashlars and cladding. 

Cadeby 2-6

Cadeby bed 2-6  is a fine grained, buff to pale cream coloured stone with intermediate bedding. It is a durable stone, capable of being used for internal paving, carving, ashlars and cladding. 

Cadeby 7-8

Cadeby bed 7-8 is a fine grained, white coloured stone with areas of where small voids are shown. It is a durable stone, capable of being used for internal paving, carving, ashlars and cladding. 

Cadeby 9-10

Cadeby bed 9-10 is a white coloured stone with unique conglomerate appearance. It is a durable stone, capable of being used for internal paving, carving, ashlars and cladding. 

Cadeby bed 11-13 is also a white coloured stone with fine grains. It is also capable of showing veining. It is a durable stone, capable of being used for internal paving, carving, ashlars and cladding. 

Cadeby 11-13

The Cadeby beds range from 1 to 13, with it's appearance changing from a light buff colour to white as the beds progress. However each bed is capable of producing unique features such as slight veining, bedding or a conglomerate appearance. Cadeby is capable of being used for internal paving, carving, ashlars and cladding.
