Perryfield
Perryfield is capable of producing a range of stone from clean and uniform whitbed to shelly and textured roach. At Ranco however, we mainly work with Perryfield whitbed as it is the more sought after bed from the Perryfield range. Yet we are still happy to work with the other Perryfield beds if you require.
Whitbed
The whitbed's presence of shell can range from being quite clean to having an intermediate amount of shell within it. Perryfield whitbed also tends to have a more open texture due to the presence of shell within it.
It can be used for a broad range of applications, as it is capable of being carved with ease while still being durable for applications exposed to weathering and abrasion

Variety
Please note due to stone being a natural material it is prone to having a variety of appearances based on its colour and texture. If you have received any samples from us we recommend that they remain an accurate representation of what is currently being quarried for two months. If your samples are older than two months then they may not accurately represent what is being produced at this point in time and we recommend that you contact us to arrange for a new sample.
