Broadcroft

Broadcroft is classed as a whitbed, it has more texture from the moderate amount of shell present within it. It is can contain small white patches within the stone, with it having a slight variation in colour. It is still a generally clean stone compared to other Portland stone and it is one of the cleanest variations of whitbed. Broadcroft is an appropriate stone to be used as a general building stone as it can be used for carving, flooring and cladding.

Variety

Please note due to stone being a natural material it is prone to having a variety of appearances based on its colour and texture. If you have received any samples from us we recommend that they remain an accurate representation of what is currently being quarried for  two months. If your samples are older than two months then they may not accurately represent what is being produced at this point in time and we recommend that you contact us to arrange for a new sample.
